Tragic Collision in Odisha Claims Seven Lives: Speeding SUV Causes Devastating Accident

In a devastating incident in Odisha, seven lives were lost when a speeding Mahindra Scorpio SUV collided head-on with two motorcycles and struck an autorickshaw from behind on a narrow single-lane road. The accident, captured on CCTV, also involved the SUV hitting a tractor from the side.

The chilling footage reveals the Scorpio traveling at high speed on the narrow road. Attempting to overtake the autorickshaw, the SUV is left with minimal space to avoid the two oncoming motorcyclists, who are riding in the middle of the road. The collision occurs shortly after this precarious maneuver.

According to reports, the autorickshaw was carrying 15 passengers. Tragically, three individuals lost their lives on the spot, while the remaining four succumbed to injuries during treatment at the hospital.

Local authorities in Bijapur village, where the accident transpired, have filed a case in connection with the incident.
